GEDNEY HILL PARISH COUNCIL

I hereby give you notice that the Ordinary Meeting of the above-named Parish Council will be held at Gedney Hill & District Memorial Hall, PE12 0NN at 6.30pm on Monday 20 January 2025.

All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the Meeting as set out hereunder. 

Your attendance is also required for the 15 minute Public Forum, this will take place at the start of the meeting and is open for the Public to ask questions or make statements.

The Agenda is as follows: 

1.    Chairmans remarks.

2.    Apologies for absence and acceptance. 

3.    Declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 and consideration of any requests for dispensation. 

4.    PPC Update.
a)    Presentation from S Berrisford –
Full Council to resolve which project should be chosen.
b)    UKSPF GRASSroots Grant
Full Council to ratify application.

5.    To approve the draft notes of the meeting held on 18 November 2024.

6.    Clerks report on matters outstanding.

7.    Financial Report.
a)    Expenditure
b)    Income

8.    2025/26 Budget
Full Council to agree budget and precept requirement.

9.    Medicine Cabinet for use in Morrisons Daily, Gedney Hill
Full Council to ratify decision to purchase cabinet.

10.    To discuss any issues relating to the Parish Pavilion. 

11.    Speedwatch Group update.

12.    Planning 
a)    To discuss current planning applications and decisions.
b)    To discuss consultations and concerns. 

13.    Cemetery matters

14.    To advise of any items to be added to the next meeting agenda. 

15.    Confirmation of Clerks appointment.

16.    Date of next meeting – Monday 17 March 2025 at 6.30pm
